Major Renovation of the Backup Branch of the Main Water Pipeline in Volochysk

The project includes laying a new backup water pipeline from the “Pivnichnyi” (Northern) water intake wells to the distribution network of Volochysk via Zaporizka Street. The existing 500 mm steel pipeline, in use since 1995, is 80% worn and frequently fails, leading to accidents, service interruptions, and water losses.

Implementation includes the use of modern polyethylene pipes of various diameters, installation of prefabricated reinforced concrete manholes, replacement of shut-off valves, and restoration of road surfaces.

Key Specifications:

• Length of new pipeline: 2,762 meters

• Pipe diameters: from 160 mm to 500 mm

• Design capacity: 4,500 m³/day

• Construction duration: 3 months

The project is funded using state and/or local budget resources.
Total estimated cost: UAH 19,987,387

• Construction works: UAH 15,861,625

• Other expenses: UAH 4,125,762

Project design and cost documentation are approved, with a positive expert review obtained.
