All-Season Solar Water Heating System for Volochysk

An all-season solar thermal system is designed to provide domestic hot water (DHW) with a daily consumption of 1,000 liters at a temperature of 65°C.
The system is based on 8 flat solar collectors (Hewalex KS2100F TPL AC) with a total absorber area of 16.5 m², oriented south at a 45° angle.
The system can cover up to 54.8% of the annual thermal energy demand for DHW, resulting in electricity savings of up to 12,545 kWh per year.

The SR658 controller automatically manages the circulation pump based on the temperature difference between the collector and the storage tank, ensuring efficient use of solar energy.

Direct purchase and installation of equipment.
Implementation Cost:
UAH 372,557.31 (equivalent to USD 9,998.85 based on the exchange rate at the time of calculation).
Payback Period:
3 years and 9 months, based on current electricity tariffs and an annual price increase of 5%.
Additional Notes:
Costs for installation and additional materials are calculated individually depending on the specifics of the site.
